Do you remember the last time you went to the doctor? Normally I go to the doctor once every three months to get refills on my maintenance medicines but doctor day is never anything I look forward to. Mostly because I always get sick when I go to the doctor. I know that sounds silly but after working at home for years and also home-schooling Mary, I have low resistance to anything that comes around. So going to the doctor, where mostly everyone there is sick, always gets me feeling sick afterwards.

So that's why I am loving Amwell. If you've never heard of them, they are the nation’s largest telehealth company, connecting users with board-certified, licensed doctors for immediate and live, online visits—day or night, on either mobile or desktop. Amwell doctors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and are dedicated to keeping you healthy -- all from the comfort of your home.

Using Amwell is super easy too and the walkthrough is great. Start by making your login account and then once your information is in, you'll be on the home-screen where you can choose a doctor.

After choosing your doctor, you will then put in your symptoms, allergies and other needed information. When that's done, you'll be able to start your visit. Another great feature is that you can also test your connection on your computer to see if you can use your normal computer or if you'll need your smartphone or tablet. I was able to use my computer so I went ahead and started my session easily.

Want to see how easy it really is to use Amwell? Check out the following video and just see if you can't relate! The last time I went to the doctor, I had bronchial pneumonia which is pneumonia in both lungs. I felt so bad that I could barely lift my head up and I sat in the chair the entire time, not moving. When the doctor finally came in, she spent about 10 minutes with me and moved on. I could have easily did everything right over the computer.
