I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Monk Fruit In The Raw. I received product samples to facilitate my post as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

When you go to the grocery store, have you noticed the amount of sugar in snacks now? I never really noticed things like that until I had to start reading the ingredients for allergies. And it was then that I realized that sugar is loaded in kid snacks! And what's so sad is sometimes it's hidden by other names than sugar. So unless you know what you're looking for, you won't know you're pumping your kids full of sugar.

In our house, we do keep snacks but most of the time we do keep organic items as them. That way when we get a little snacky, we know we're eating something healthy. But what about all the times that we bake? Almost everything in recipes needs sugar but sugar can be so unhealthy, especially if you bake a lot like me.

September is Childhood Obesity so in honor of this month, I wanted to make a delicious dessert that not only welcomes autumn but also will not cut on taste while reducing sugar. Monk Fruit In The Raw is a wholesome, zero-calorie sweetener, made with real fruit. It has a simple, sweet taste that can be used in any recipe that calls for sugar. Plus I love that right on the bag is says it converts the exact same as regular sugar. So if your recipe calls for 1 cup of sugar, you need 1 cup of Monk Fruit In The Raw. There are also no table sugar, molasses or sugar alcohols added either so it's safe for kids.

Now in our house, we love chocolate, that's sort of obvious. But I wanted to make something chocolaty for a dessert with Monk Fruit In The Raw. So I made some Chocolate Chip Crumb Cake and it turned out great!
