Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved berries and cream. Anything that has berries and cream is alright in my book so I've always liked to experiment with that combination. My husband on the other hand is more of a smoothie person and will pretty much drink any of kind smoothie down. So today I combined our two loves and made a delicious and refreshing vegetarian treat called Blackberry and Banana Swirl.
To make this delicious treat, all you need are the following ingredients:
Bananas
Blackberries
Cinnamon
Vanilla
Milk
Reddi-wip
Take the bananas and cut them into pieces. Freeze the pieces overnight. After they are frozen, place them in a food processor with a bit of cinnamon and also 1 tsp of vanilla. Blend until it is an ice cream consistency. Empty the blend into a large bowl and set aside. Next add your blackberries and a bit of milk into the food processor. Blend well and add to the banana mixture in the bowl. Gently swirl together in the bowl and add to a glass. Top with Reddi-Wip for a lovely summer treat!
