A few months ago, we got Mary a train table to she could have a place to play with all her cars and trains. Of course, she didn't have an official train set though because we couldn't seem to find one that was decently priced and looked fun to her. So the train table has been sitting empty except for some toy cars that she's been playing with on it.
But a few weeks ago, we were able to review the CAT Iron Diesel Train set and Mary is loving it!
The Cat Iron Diesel Train set is motorized, has over 7 feet of track, carries 2 removable Cat machines and includes a pivoting car with removable shipping container. It runs on two double AA batteries and it retails for $18.99 which is an amazing price for a motorized train set!
Of course Mary ended up putting some of her toys on the tracks to see if the train could run them over like in the old movies, but it didn't work! Overall she's been having a great time with the train set and I love that the price is a great one for a motorized train. It's very sturdy and the tracks lock which is great since it's not easy for kids to tear them apart.
