Last month I unboxed my welcome box for The Delilah Box so I was super excited to see what was going to be in the January box! The Delilah Box is a biblical fiction subscription box which is designed for those of us who wish to learn about the lesser known, lesser liked and sometimes more relatable women of the Bible.
Each month is centered around a different Bible girl character and includes items that relate to that theme. Inside each box, you'll receive 2-3 books, herbal tea, bath salts, Bible journaling items, a candle, a devotion guide or other items.
For this month, I received two books, Mara Daughter of the Nile and Jerusalem's Queen. But what was so sweet was that Jerusalem's Queen wasn't the actual book for January. It was supposed to be Judah's Wife which I already own. Since I follow Delilah Box on Facebook, I had mentioned that I already have Judah's Wife and love it. So the owner, Taylor, wrote me a handwritten note inside my box and said she substituted it out since she saw I already have it! I didn't ask her to do that at all and I really love how she took the time to care. Just that act of kindness made a huge impact on me.
Along with the two books, I also received tea, candy, a bible word search, a bookmark, a pen, a notebook, a zippered bag and the devotional guide for the month. And everything was placed in a cotton drawstring bag like last time.
