5 Must See Places in the Northwest United States

The Northwest United States is a gorgeous wonderland full of mountains, forests and lots to explore. If you've never been to Washington or Oregon, here are five of the must see places for when you plan your trip!

Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls is a gorgeous waterfall that is just a 30 minute drive outside of Portland. Towering at 620 feet high, it is breathtaking to see, especially in the winter! Currently, it is the tallest waterfall in the state of Oregon.

The Space Needle

Visiting the rainy city is never complete without seeing the Space Needle. The view from 520 feet up lets you see all of Seattle from a new light. Plus you can even see the Cascades in the distance! The Space Needle is a must see if you're in Seattle.

Mt. Rainier

If you're looking for a more quaint and scenic rest, Mt. Rainier National Park is it. Towering 14,410 feet above sea level, this active volcano and National Park has breathtaking views. And if you're needing some rehabilitation, the Recovery Village of Ridgefield is a short drive away.

Crater Lake National Park

If you're in Southern Oregon, Crater Lake National Park is an amazing place to visit. It is the only National Park in Oregon and the park itself encompasses the caldera of Crater Lake, the remnant of a destroyed volcano.

Portland, Oregon

Portland, Oregon is a fun city, especially for families to visit. You have everything from Japanese Gardens, a Zoo, a children's museum and even an amusement park. Portland is a must see if you're traveling with kids!
