The Banned Bordeaux Plaid Short Sleeve Eliza Swing Dress from Unique Vintage

As a lover of vintage fashions, I enjoy piecing together items that are old and new. Recently, I teamed up with Unique Vintage to share some of my favorite pieces they currently have and to add some vintage pieces in to make outfits!

My first outfit for this series features the Banned Bordeaux Plaid Short Sleeve Eliza Swing Dress from Unique Vintage. This gorgeous plaid swing dress comes in a wine color that caught my eye immediately. The dress itself has short sleeves with a cutout to show the upper arms and a faux button closure. The high neckline and bow was what really caught my attention because it would pair perfectly with a burgundy color due to the colors in the plaid and the bow. And last but not least, the  Banned Bordeaux Plaid Short Sleeve Eliza Swing Dress from Unique Vintage features two side pockets.

Due to the high neckline, I decided to pair it with a gorgeous vintage wool sweater that I have treasured for years. It is a burgundy color sweater to match the bow of the dress. It features hand embroidery that you don't see anymore too. When I first found this sweater, I quickly grabbed it up because you just don't find sweaters like that anymore.

Overall I think the entire outfit came out perfect and very reminiscent of the 1940s because of the neckline of the dress and the age of the sweater. It is a perfect little winter outfit and I really enjoyed piecing it together!

Make sure to watch out for the rest of the series with Unique Vintage pieces!
