There's always something special about wearing plaid to me. It makes it feel like autumn even more than ever. I only usually wear plaid in the colder months just because of the feel of it. Plaid is actually the only geometric pattern that I wear ever. Normally I am in flowers but here in the south, we've started to have a nip of cold weather so plaid seemed fitting this week.
A few days ago, I had also found some lovely dark blue loafers on sale too. Since they matched my plaid in my dress and my vintage sweater, I knew they would be perfect for the day. And you can never go wrong with patterned tights either.
What was so fun was finding all these vintage items. The shoes and tights were the only things that weren't vintage. The dress was a beautiful vintage plaid dress from the 60s and the cardigan was vintage from JC Pennys in the 50s. It's always fun to me to find lovely pieces that are still wearable.
