I have partnered with World Market to make this dreidel cake for Hanukkah. All opinions are my own.*
Hanukkah is almost here and making a dreidel cake is a super easy way to impress guests for any Hanukkah party. Ingredients are minimal and it only takes a few hours to make from start to finish! If you’re interested in making a gorgeous dreidel cake this year, here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients
1. JAZ Hazelnut Vanilla Fig Cake (WM)
2. World Market Gummy Raspberry Candy (WM)
3. Streenland Mesh Bag of Hanukkah Gelt (WM)
4. Vanilla Frosting
5. Blue M&M’s
6. Compact Ovenware Rectangular Pan (WM)
7. Olive Oil Spray
8. Oil (From back of cake box instructions)
9. Eggs (From back of cake box instructions)
10. Milk (From back of cake box instructions)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Using a Pyrex mixing bowl, open both packages of JAZ Hazelnut Vanilla Fig Cake into the bowl. Follow the directions on the back of the box to make the cake. Since the cake will be in a rectangular pan, double the ingredients listed on the back of the box. For instance, the original directions state to use 2 eggs for a loaf cake. Use 4 eggs for the rectangular cake pan instead.
Mix all the ingredients listed on the back of the cake box together in the bowl. Spray the rectangular cake pan with olive oil spray. Gently pour the cake batter into the pan and put into the oven until brown on top, about 35 minutes.
Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool until it can be removed from the pan. Gently take a knife and make sure the edges aren’t stuck. Then lift the cake from the pan in one piece and set it on a platter.
Using the picture as a guide, make 4 cuts into the cake to make the dreidel form. Next frost the cake with the vanilla frosting. Before the frosting hardens, place the World Market Gummy Raspberry Candy around the top edge of the cake. Then take the blue M&M’s and make a letter from the dreidel that you desire in the middle.
Finish off the cake with some Streenland Hanukkah Gelt around the platter. Then enjoy!
And don’t forget the Hanukkah napkins for easy cleanup!
