US Cellular's Calling All Communities Program #spon

I am a US Cellular Ambassador and was compensated for this post. All opinions are my own.

Have you ever heard of US Cellular's Calling All Communities program? Well it's returning for the fifth year November 4-25 and now is the time to prepare and rally your community to support a local school!

Basically the program challenges schools to rally community support to vote for their school for the chance to win a share of $500,000 to fund what their students need the most. The top 20 schools who get the most community support and votes will each get $25,000 to help their students get what they need the most! There's also only one vote per person so you need the entire community to help out!

Since the program began in 2008, U.S. Cellular has awarded $4 million to 56 schools across the country! What an awesome way to give back towards education!

What I really love about the program is that you can participate even with a private school. I grew up going to a private school and there were a lot of things we couldn't participate in because we weren't a public school. So it's so nice to see that my old school can participate in US Cellular!

So what can you do to help your school out? Once the campaign starts, you can get a printable flyer on the US Cellular site to help spread the word around your community. Get local stores involved along with sports teams, the school band and even student groups. You could also get a message put on your school's website with a link to the US Cellular page.

If you want to find out more about the program, check it out on the US Cellular site. And to see past winners, check it out here!

Have you ever participated in this program for a school? Will you this year?
