I was given this car for a week to test drive. No compensation was given.
My dad came down last week for a long awaited visit and I was lucky enough to show up with this big huge beauty to tote him around in! The 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition was a gorgeous ride and I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed to see it go!
When the 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition first came into my driveway, I didn't realize just how big it was. That is, until I started trying to take pictures of it and I saw it wasn't going to completely fit from where I was standing!
Inside the 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition, there were three rows of seats. The middle section had a space in the middle so you could walk back to the last row of seats which was very helpful. Plus the seats were all made of leather so they were very comfortable too.
The 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition also had four tv's in it too! One in each of the front back seats and then two that were in the ceiling. Plus in the console, there were four sets of earphones plus two universal remotes. In the back of the two front seats, those tv's could play different movies so if your kids don't want to watch the same thing they don't have to! You can also plug in video games to the tv's too so the kids won't ever be bored!
The 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition had a navigation system with DVD and audio in the front. It also had a Bose surround sound system, XM radio, and Bluetooth. The air conditioning was a tri zone climate control too so you could keep everyone comfortable!
Some of my favorite features were the push button trunk close, the rear cup holders for guests, the heated and cooled cup holders in the front, and also the mirrors that alert you if it's safe to pass. This particular model also had the rear vision camera system and the side blind zone alert which I completely fell in love with.
The beautiful wheels were chrome and since the 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition is so big to get into, it had power assist steps which means it had a retractable step that came down for you when you opened a door. The inside of the car had olive ash and walnut burl wood, plus the steering wheel was leather wrapped and was heated too! So no more getting in a cold car and blowing on your hands until the heat kicks in! Plus it also had OnStar just in case you needed help in an emergency.
Now I'm a short person so when I found out the 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition had adjustable foot pedals, I fell in love! All you do is push a button and your pedals come closer or further away! It also had a power sunroof and the front seats were heated and cooled. Seriously, this was complete luxury. The 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition had everything!
Sitting up in the front was very comfortable. There was plenty of space and a control for everything. Plus there were places to put just about anything you had, including a USB port for a computer.
The trunk had ample space in it too, especially if you took out the back two seats which you can. The 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition was an amazing and comfortable ride from every aspect.
So how much does the 2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum Edition cost? The model I was driving had a total cost of $86,090.00. So bottom line, would I buy it? I couldn't afford to buy it but if it was given to me, I'd cherish it forever!
Overall it was an amazing vehicle and I can't wait to try out the rest of the Cadillac line!
