I grew up in New York so of course I got to learn a lot about cooking and food. Some of the best food comes from New York in my opinion so when I get to learn about a chef from there, I get excited! And tomorrow, Chef Marcus Samuelsson is coming to Macy's at Lenox Square to share his cooking tips during the Macy's Culinary Council.
Chef Marcus Samuelsson is an Ethiopian chef who has made a name for himself in the culinary world. From being the youngest chef to ever earn a three-star review from the New York Times at age 23 to winning the second season of Top Chef Masters, Chef Marcus Samuelsson has given foodies something to talk about. Today, Chef Marcus Samuelsson is the owner of Red Rooster Harlem, a restaurant that serves up American comfort foods while giving a nod to his Ethiopian and Swedish beginnings.
If you'd like to see Chef Marcus Samuelsson telling his tips, make sure to get to Lenox Square on Saturday!
