This was by far the best amish novella collection I have read yet! The characters were so real and you could feel their emotions. I also loved how some of the stories included characters from previous books that never got their happy ending. It is so great to remember characters like Hannah from With Winter's First Frost finally get a happy ending. Overall this is a must read.
Since there are characters from other books in these stories, it would help if you read those books as well to have an understanding of their stories. The characters from Their True Home by Amy Clipston are found in Room on the Porch Swing by Amy Clipston and the characters from Mended Hearts by Kelly Irvin are found in With Winter's First Frost by Kelly Irvin.
