Strawberry Mint Protein Smoothie + How to Save Money On Your Groceries! #foodlion5off

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are my own.

Last month, I made a huge decision for myself. I started a low sodium diet and I started exercising six times a week. Honestly, it didn't happen because I just had to do it. It all started because of the high blood pressure I have been having and my doctor told me to lay off the salt. But laying off the salt was the start of it. Then after three weeks into not having salt, I started exercising too.

I really wanted to start feeling better and not feeling so sick all the time. So for breakfast, I have a protein smoothie. For lunch, I have a sensible protein with vegetables and a grain. Sometimes, I try to figure out the best time to take probiotics, as these foods enumerate the good gut bacteria and boost your metabolism.Normally between lunch and dinner, I have a veggie or fruit snack. And then I do 30 minutes of cardio six night a week. About 30 minutes after my cardio, I have my dinner which is a protein smoothie.

So far, I am dropping pounds and inches so I'm super pleased with that. But I also feel better too. I feel good when I collapse into bed after exercising so hard. And I'm not having so much congestion after I eat either.

For my smoothies, I use Isagenix IsaLean Protein. My personal favorites are the Strawberry Cream and the Vanilla. I love to add fruits to them too just for extra vitamins so here is a super easy recipe to make a Strawberry Mint Protein Smoothie.

Strawberry Mint Protein Smoothie

Ingredients
  • Isagenix IsaLean Strawberry Cream Protein (2 scoops)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Fresh Mint

Directions
Pour all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately. (I love using a mason jar glass in the mornings!)

In one glass of this amazing smoothie, is more than 30mg of protein!
