This past week has been super busy for us with homeschool field trips and also working. So since we were going out of town, we figured it would be the perfect time to check out another new vehicle. This time we tried out the 2016 Mazda Mazda6 i Grand Touring and it was incredible.
This gorgeous car was fully loaded and perfect for a growing family. For a sedan, it was surprisingly roomy and we had a blast traveling around in it. Plus with everywhere we went, we still had plenty of gas. Since it has SkyActiv built in, it gets 32MPG.
Built into the car is a touchscreen display that you can also use a joystick to maneuver as well. I loved that it was also a touchscreen because sometimes it's just easier to touch it. And there was a rear view camera as well which is a great feature when you're in traffic. When I was trying to pull out in a crowded parking space, it started beeping when someone would get too close. That's a wonderful safety feature.
A few other features that I loved were the rain sensing wipers and the side mirrors with turning lamps. The lights on this car are super bright so when you're turning, even the side mirrors get bright which is a great at night.
The last two features I enjoyed were the blind spot monitoring system and the lane departure warning system. If you're trying to get into another lane and someone is coming up in your blind spot, the car will start beeping to let you know someone is too close. I love that especially for the highway.
Overall this was a wonderful car and we loved every minute of driving in it. Currently the model I received has an MSRP of $33,815 fully loaded.
