As I've mentioned a lot, Mary is a very active child. She loves all sports and is constantly outside. So as a parent, it's always important to me that she drinks a good sports drink to replenish what she loses during play. But recently I found out a very scary fact about a well known sports drink that's on the market. And it's that flame retardant is put into it. I'm not exactly sure what their idea of benefit is with doing that, but my own thoughts say there is no need to have that in your body. Plus most sports drinks are full of sodium too which is just as bad as having artificial items in it as well.
But recently I was asked to try out a new sports drink and I had the chance to try it with Mary. It's called BODYARMOR and it's a premium sports drink with more potassium-packed electrolytes, vitamins and coconut water. It is low in sodium and contains nothing artificial which is a huge plus for me.
Currently, BODYARMOR comes in 7-great tasting flavors: fruit punch, orange mango, strawberry-banana, tropical punch, lemon-lime, mixed berry and grape. And you can find these in supermarkets all over the US. For the Atlanta area, you can find them in Publix and Target currently.
So what is my overall thought on BODYARMOR? I think it's a much-needed change to the sports drink industry. It makes giving your kids something to drink after sports one less thing to worry about. Plus with all the great flavors, kids will really love them.
