Ever since my husband and I got married, we've had a septic system. And when you have a septic system, you have to be extra careful with the toilet paper you use and how you use it. Of course I never understood this until a few years back but that's because we had a huge septic problem that needed to be fixed. Our entire house, including the sinks, were backed up and even after having the septic tank pumped, we still had a problem. And since that's not an overnight fix when it comes to a big septic system, we ended up having to stay at a hotel since we couldn't use the water in our house anymore.
