Cookies N' Cream Frog & Lilypad Cookies #IcedDelight @InDelight

This past summer has been a blast for our family. We've been able to experience so many new things together like going to Pigeon Forge and watching a dinner show. Mary even got to go up on stage with one of the actors for a dance at the beginning!

We also got a new puppy this summer too. His name is Charlie Brown and he's Mary's new best friend.

Last month we all went to the theme park near us for the day too. That was so much fun that when we all got home, we went to bed at 6pm!

Then a few weeks after that, we took Mary on a day trip through two states. We had lots of fun taking pictures at the state line too!

This past weekend we took Mary to her very first art museum for an early home-school field trip too. She had so much fun especially since the museum itself caters to kids.

And to top it all off, two nights ago Belle's first baby hatched! This past summer our female parakeet Belle and one of our male's, Runt, has had their first clutch!

So needless to say, this summer has been busy and very rewarding! So to top it off, Mary and I have been baking up a storm this past week since the weather is going to start getting cool soon. And one of our newest creations is Cookies N' Cream Frog & Lilypad Cookies! We were actually inspired when we went to buy some Amish things and got the gummy frogs!

Ingredients
2 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup softened butter
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
6 tablespoons International Delight Cookies N' Cream Iced Coffee
green food coloring
gummy frogs

Directions
Preheat oven to 375.
In a bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Set aside.
In a large bowl, blend together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg, green food coloring & International Delight. Gradually blend in dry ingredients. If your mixture is too dry, add more international delight.
Place small balls of dough on a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Gently add the gummy frogs to the middle of the cookie. Let cool on a rack.

These have been a huge hit in the house and they really come out so tasty too! What has your family done this summer?
