Like most girls, Mary loves the American Girl store. We recently just went last week and she had a great time with the classes she took, the hairdo her doll got and the meal we ate at the bistro. Of course once we got home, she wanted to recreate what we got there so I did my best in remaking the Caprese Salad since that's a favorite of mine.
Ingredients
Mixed Greens
Cherry Tomatoes
Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
Balsamic Vinaigrette
Sliced Green Tomatoes
Directions
Mix everything in a bowl and lightly put the vinaigrette on top. Serve immediately.
This salad is very light but it's delicious, especially for someone who loves mozzarella cheese! To me there's nothing better than fresh chunks of mozzarella and adding them in a salad is even better!
