Spring is here in full blast and I can't believe we can finally get back outside without sweaters on! Something I really love about spring is that I can exercise more outside which I really love doing. I hate sitting inside and winter just seems like it goes on forever! But now with spring here, we're making a few changes in our house to start eating healthier.
Some of the changes we're going to make are eating more fresh fruits and vegetables, eat out less, keeping less sweets in the house and also starting to drink Core Four TEN products instead of full calorie soft drinks.
To start off my spring season right, I decided to head over to Walmart to get some ingredients to make a new fizzy juice drink that will be sure to keep my family staying healthy.
Making a special drink from using Canada Dry TEN is a perfect way to keep people from being bored with drinking the same type of soda a lot. Plus it's a nice way to add in some extra vitamins!
I was able to find cans of the Canada Dry TEN on the shelf so I grabbed them up to go home and make my Lime Sunrise drink!
At home, I gathered all my ingredients and got ready to make my Lime Sunrise! Here's everything you'll need to make it yourself:
2 cups pineapple juice
2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
1 can of peach nectar
5 limes, sliced
3 cans of Canada Dry TEN
Ice
In a large punch bowl, mix together the pineapple juice, the cranberry juice cocktail, the peach nectar and 4 limes. Chill for about 3 hours. Before serving, pour in Canada Dry TEN and add ice cubes along with a lime slice as garnish.
I love making this drink and keeping it in a pitcher in the refrigerator. And it's great because it has 230 mg of potassium and 130% of your daily value Vitamin C amount in it! So not only are you getting a full flavor beverage with less calories, you're also getting vitamins too!
