Using Tryout.net To Help Your Kids Live Their Dreams

Do you have kids that are destined to become stars one day? When I was a teenager, I was asked to be a model for a agency in West Palm Beach, FL but back then my parents weren't too sure about the entire situation. It was hard enough that I was on the stage so young, so they figured I would never be home if I started modeling too. Of course I did end up doing a few shots, but my parents didn't have a place to really look into things online. But now parents do have a great spot to check out how to make their kids' dreams come true!

Since Mary started ballet last year, I signed her up for Tryout.net.net to see how I could possibly further her in her love of ballet. On Tryout, you're able to sign your child up and make a resume of their work including videos and photos so that the professionals that are members can see them. That way they have a better chance of being discovered!

I always promised myself that I wouldn't push Mary into anything she didn't want to do and that I would support her fully. So when she had a choice to be signed up or not, she wanted to very much.

Tryout.net also hosts contests too like their most recent one that just finished, singing with Big Time Rush on stage! I think this is an amazing way to help their network fulfill their dreams. Along with contests, you can also schedule one on one time with professionals and your kids to get tips and help! It's called a Pro Live Session where industry professionals communicate directly with parents and kids via one-on-one video chat. You can also get Pro Feedback where industry professionals offer guidance to parents and kids via text and recorded video.

Here's a bit more about Tryout:

Tryout is a Kid-Safe multilingual Talent Network available to kids, parents and professionals. Tryout gives kids a chance to safely develop and grow their creative talents and interests from their homes while working with the best creative professionals out there. We provide a 100% COPPA complaint environment which means that child’s profile is never made public and cannot be looked at or found by anyone, putting you in complete control. Once you find professionals you are interested in communicating with, whose expertise range from fields of interest including sports, dance, music, performance, modeling, fine arts and special talents, you can communicate with them on an exclusive one-on-one. Our new features give you the ability to communicate with professionals across the United States, making feasible to interact with professionals whose classes your child might not have had the chance to be exposed to otherwise.

Signing up for Tryout is absolutely FREE! As part of Tryout’s commitment to creating a safe online environment for children and their families, we verify all professionals that register on Tryout to make sure they are who they say they are, in addition to receiving verified parental consent. All children must be connected to a parent account and cannot apply to an opportunity or contact an agent directly. That interaction must be done through a parent account. When you and your child apply for an opportunity, you send an application that you create within Tryout that may include media that comes from your gallery on the site.

If you would like to sign up for Tryout, it's completely free so go ahead and make your kids a profile! And make sure to enter below for the chance to win a free live session with American Idol vocal coach Ken Stacey!
