Everyone who has kids will have a sticky situation one time or another. And in my house, I get sticky situations on a daily basis. Between having my daughter home all day for home-school and then having my husband home all day writing for his work, I am always the one cleaning up after both! And anyone who is married knows exactly what I'm talking about.
Take for instance my husband - he will have garbage and just leave it on the counter NEXT to the trash can. Like he couldn't take the extra two steps to the can and drop it in. He'd rather leave it on the counter for me to put in the trash eventually.
And Mary is the biggest mess maker of them all. She makes messes like it's nobody's business. Like the powdered donuts she found in the cabinet...
The poor donuts didn't stand a chance. And that's just one of her messes so far this month!
And how about doughnuts and Legos on the floor together? Another lovely mess that I had the privilege to pick up!
And who can forget the midnight snack of pickles, cheese and pepperoni with my husband? And the pickles that were eaten on my beautiful white couch!
But make sure to never tell Mary that she made a mess because this is always her reaction to it:
