Mary Learning to Swim Thanks to @Swimways #Swimsteps

I am a Swimways Ambassador and was provided with the items for review. This post may contain affiliate links

Today we went up to the lake to go swimming since it was so hot outside! And thanks to Swimways, we were able to test out some very fun pool items.

The adorable vest on Mary is the Sea Squirts swim assist. The sizes range from small to medium and we have Mary wearing a large in this picture. The easiest way to find your size is the measure the child's chest. The vest was small on Mary though because she is very tall and big for her age. She is usually as big as an eight year old and since her chest is 27 inches, I honestly couldn't close the vest so she wore it just for a bit to play.

Here Mary ended up switching in to the Power Swimr in a size large and it fit, but was snug on her. It did help her to float, but she's still terrified to try and swim so mostly she stands in the water when it gets up to her shoulder.

Eventually after wanting to sit down, Mary migrated to the Spring Float Recliner which was intended for me, but she sort of stole it from me! This was her favorite thing because she could be in the water and not be so scared.

As you can see, after Mary had her way with the float, my husband stole it from too! Seriously, after they both had their turns, I got mine and I loved it too! No wonder everyone had a fit over it. It's very comfortable and even has cupholders!

The last item I wanted to showcase was the Pooligan which is a plush toy that can go right in the water. Of course, this was tested right in the tub first because Mary couldn't wait to get to the lake! I really like the pooligan because it dries fast too and a lot of people were surprised that a plush toy could go right in the water. It's a great conversation starter too because people were asking me where I found it too.

So my overall thoughts on all the Swimways items we received were very positive. I personally loved the pooligan and the recliner very much, along with the Power swimr because it actually fit Mary.

Would you like to win a Spring Float Recliner? One winner will so make sure to enter!
