Have you ever heard the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words"? How about "A picture is worth $1,000"? Wahl and Military Spouse Magazine are partnering together to host 'A Picture is worth $1,000’ photo contest to recognize men and women everywhere who run a household while their spouse is serving our country!

Military spouses are asked to capture a special moment with their partner or family and submit it to the contest page. I already submitted a few photos to the contest and it was super easy! Just fill out the form and you can even add up to 3 photos so you have a better chance at winning! Wanna see one of the photos I actually entered?

Seriously, have you ever seen a happier child to have Zaxby's? I thought the picture was just too cute to pass up! I really thought this picture embodied 'a picture is worth $1,000 because it's Mary just being herself!

Whether on base, celebrating homecomings, saying goodbyes, or completing family milestones, all photos are welcome! Just remember digital photos should be at least 300 dpi and in jpg format to for a chance to win. The entries will automatically be entered to win $1,000 courtesy of Wahl Home Products. To help stretch a family budget further, more parents are cutting hair at home with a Wahl Clipper. Did you know Wahl is the number one clipper brand with families and offers the convenience of cutting hair anytime, anywhere? Wahl clippers are manufactured in America and have been for nearly 100 years so they're the perfect clippers for an all American family!

If you're a military spouse, make sure to enter the contest and do it soon! The contest closes July 8, 2013.

Enter here and have the chance to win! The winning photo will be shared in the September issue of Military Spouse Magazine.
