Something my husband says I can actually cook very well is homemade soup. He loves when I get in the kitchen and whip up a brand new soup, so since today was very cold, I decided some Tomato Bisque would taste really good.
Tomato Basil Bisque
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 cup water
2 cup milk
2 teaspoons basil
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
Bring tomatoes, water, milk and seasonings to boil in saucepan. Add rice and cook for 25 minutes. Add more salt and pepper to each person's liking.

This is one of my favorite soups of all time. Hubby usually puts a little curry powder in it too to give it a kick. Thanks for the recipe.
