What Are You Reading for the Holidays? #ReadMore

I am part of the PTPA Brand Ambassador Program with Kobo and I received Compensation as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.

Ever since I was a little girl, I've always loved to read. I started reading really young and so did Mary so it's no wonder that she loves to read as much as I did. But something that Mary really loves is to read on her tablet. So normally I'll just upload some new books, especially for home-school, onto her tablet so she can learn new things in a fun way.

An app she has on her tablet that lets her read a book from anywhere is Kobo. Kobo is a free app that lets you read books from devices you already have. But they also sell their own devices too including the new Kobo H2O which is waterproof! So you can read in the bathtub, the pool, the beach, etc. The possibilities are endless and you won't have to worry about it being damaged.

Another great thing is in the Kobo content store you can read reviews and see suggestions on books. So if you're itching for something new to read, then you can see what others are thinking too.

A lot of people are starting to love to read on tablets and devices. Did you know that last year Canadians turned over 300 million virtual pages on Kobo devices? That's a whole lot of reading!

According to Kobo’s inaugural Book Report, there were the 2014 Bestsellers in E-Books:

1. Gone Girl – Gillian Flynn
2. The Fault in Our Stars – John Green
3. Insurgent – Veronica Roth
4. Allegiant – Veronica Roth
5. Divergent – Veronica Roth
6. The Goldfinch – Donna Tartt
7. Written in My Own Heart’s Blood – Diana Gabaldon
8. The Rosie Project – Graeme Simsion
9. The Husband’s Secret – Liane Moriarty
10. Philomena – Martin Sixsmith
