A Lovely 1940s Outfit from the Seamstress of Bloomsbury

What could be better than finding clothes that feel like the 1940's? Finding some that are affordable too! I love finding vintage style clothes and the Seamstress of Bloomsbury has an amazing selection. Each piece is made in England from a vintage pattern so it's as close as you can get to the real thing!

The outfit I chose to pair together was the Isabelle Skirt and the Jive Blouse. The Isabelle skirt is a swing skirt that features a Crepe de Chine fabrics with little scotty dogs on it. The pattern that made this skirt is from 1949 and the side of the skirt has little white buttons on it.

The Jive blouse features a peter pan collar, puff sleeves and little heart buttons. This blouse can be paired with so much to give it a vintage feel!

Both of them looked wonderful together and it was comfortable too. With the fabrics being Crepe de Chine, I would suggest it for Spring and Summer since you'll need a sweater for colder weather. Overall the entire look was perfect for a warm day!
