Blueberry Pie for Hanukkah #Lucky13

I am a Lucky Leaf Blogger and was provided with a pie making kit. All opinions are my own.

I can't believe how soon Hanukkah is coming up! In a few short weeks, we'll be lighting our first candle and opening gifts! But before that, our family loves to get ready each day with something special. And this gorgeous Blueberry Hanukkah Pie is just the way to treat guests when they come over for the big night!

Ingredients
1 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground
1 package Refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
1 21-ounce can LUCKY LEAF Premium Blueberry Pie Filling
1 Egg
1 Tablespoon Milk
1 Tablespoon Sugar

Directions
Preheat oven to 400° degrees. Unroll the 2 refrigerated crusts. Put one crust in a pie pan. Fill it with the pie filling. Cut ½” strips of dough and weave in an overlapping pattern to make Jewish stars across the pie. Use a pastry brush to brush the lattice with an egg wash (egg and milk combined). Mix together cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle on top of  pie. Bake for until it is golden brown

Do you like to bake as much as me during the cooler months? Then try your hand at the Lucky 13 Recipe Contest!

Oh how I wish I had the dexterity to make the Jewish Star pattern on top of a pie--my friends would love it!

Blueberry pie is my FAVORITE. Sadly, I am the only one in my house that likes it. They are all apple pie fans, so if I made a blueberry pie I would be the only one that ate it. Not that it would necessarily be a bad thing, though, right?
