HOMEMADE HUMMINGBIRD FOOD
A SIMPLE THREE STEP RECIPE
I love posting about easy crafts and since I love making cards and envelopes, I wanted to share this awesome tutorial on how to make homemade rubber stamps! I promise, it's really simple too!
List of Materials
1. Carving tools
2. Eraser
3. Inkpad
4. Pen
Directions
1. Gather all your materials needed.
2. Draw the design you want on your eraser.
3. Begin to cut it out with your carving tools.
4. Try it out!
Really easy, right? I love when I find easy tutorials online, especially with crafts. I love crafts, especially easy ones. Every time I go into a craft store, I look for cheap rubber stamps, but I have a hard time finding them. Stamps are very expensive, especially the really big beautiful ones. So now at least I know how to make them myself.
Here's another fun tutorial that I found over at Skip to My Lou. I made the collage myself, but the pictures are hers.
This one is just as easy as the first one above! All you need is a wooden roller, craft foam, rubber cement, a pen, scissors, and an ink pad.
Glue your craft foam in the pattern you want onto the wooden roller and then try it out!
So out of both of these tutorials, which one is your favorite? Do you like stamping? Have you found that certain techniques work better than others? I'd love to hear your comments!

this is great and fun ideal
NICE!!! This is a great idea and will try this with my girls. They get into my stamps all the time and I'm a bit ocd about it.
That is such a great idea! I remember making stamps out of potatoes when I was a kid... but you couldn't keep them like you would be able to these. I'm thinking about trying this for my daughter, however I am very clumsey and worry about injuring a finger to a carving tool! Looks pretty easy though.
This is a really good idea!
What a great idea.

I would never thought of doing this. I will pin this to my pinterest. Thanks for the idea.
I absolutely love this idea!
I like the first idea...I have lots of erasers in my desk, the second one looks too tricky...I will make some Valentines stamps with my daughter this weekend, she will love it, thanks for the great idea!
You are so creative! You're right that stamps are expensive; this is a great alternative. We'll try it out on crafting day!
That is so smart! Very clever and thrifty...I love it!
love this idea! how cool!
Neat idea, never would have thought to make them this way.
I have a few stamps, which I love using, but I've never tried making my own. adding this to my list of craft projects!
What a great idea . I never thought about making my own stamps. I know lots of friends who design their own cards using stamps, I will have to make some for them and surprise them. Thanks much for the idea
